Thanks for your email – we had a fantastic time last weekend. It was exactly the wedding get-away that we were hoping for. Staff was amazing – food was incredible (we invited the sous chef out so we could applaud her – amazing!) and everyone slept like babies. Reverend Derek was awesome.

Thank you for your email. We’re now in North Carolina on the last leg of our honeymoon, heading back to the UK on Sat next. The wedding day was really good and luckily the sun shone on us at all the right times. Everyone loved the Charles Inn, and enjoyed the wedding day as much as we did.

The minister, Henry, was brilliant and did a wonderful service. He also made everything easy and relaxed for us.

My husband and I spent the single best day of our lives at The Charles Inn; our wedding day.

We recognized from the outset that The Charles was charming, tasteful, and romantic but what really set it apart and made our reception unique was the staff’s extraordinary attention to detail and unwavering level of support, service and professionalism. The food and wines were simply outstanding and our guests are still talking about how impressed they were.

Jennifer, I can’t say enough about the great wedding we had thanks to the wonderful people at the Charles Inn. The staff were most helpful and courteous and our every need was taken care of. I have never seen such a group of pleasant people totally dedicated to making sure that everything was perfect. We will recommend the Charles to all.

All of our family liked their rooms, thought the meal was excellent and that the upstairs porch was perfect both as a venue for the wedding and a place to be together after dinner. One of my brothers has already booked an overnight stay for sometime in November.

The day was absolutely beautiful. They did a fabulous job decorating the veranda and the staff were very attentive and helpful. We had a fantastic day… we had great complements about the food as well!
