A Message to our Valued Guests:

As we continue to follow the recommended government and local public health guidelines to keep our guests and our employees safe, we ask that you please be patient and kind with us as we adjust to these changing guidelines.

Below you will find important information regarding Niagara’s Finest Hotels operations during your stay.

Ontario’s Enhanced COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate and Your Visit

The Government of Ontario has introduced an enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificate system where Ontarians will be required to show proof of vaccination to access high-risk indoor settings. Currently, Ontario COVID-19 vaccination certificates are required. The Ontario Government will provide you with a unique QR Code or you can present a printed or digital copy of the certificate, to learn more about the certificate click here.

Read on below to understand where vaccination certificates are and are not required during your visit to a Niagara's Finest property, our restaurants, spas and event facilities.

Hotel Guests

  • Proof of vaccination is not required to stay overnight in the hotel or to enter common areas within the hotel.
  • Proof of vaccination is not required to utilize our outdoor establishments including our patios, gardens or common areas.

Dining Guests

  • Proof of vaccination is required to enter our restaurants and lounges for indoor dining.
  • Proof of vaccination is not required to utilize our outdoor establishments including our patios, gardens or common areas.
  • Proof of vaccination is not required to dine on our patios and terraces.
  • Proof of vaccination is not required to pick-up takeout orders from our restaurants (indoors or outdoors).

Wedding and Conference Guests

  • Proof of vaccination is required to enter any event room or meeting space this includes all ballrooms, boardrooms, conference rooms and breakout rooms.
  • Proof of vaccination is not required for outdoor ceremonies, receptions or events.
  • For indoor wedding receptions taking place between September 22 and October 12, a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours before the event will be accepted.

Exemptions

The proof of identification and proof of vaccination requirements do not apply to:

  1. For indoor wedding receptions taking place between September 22 and October 12, a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours before the event will be accepted.
  2. Unvaccinated people with medical exemptions and guests who provide a written document, completed and supplied by a physician.
  3. Children under age 12 will be permitted to enter settings requiring proof of vaccination.
  4. A negative COVID-19 test or recent COVID-19 infection will not enable a person to enter the above settings.
  5. Guests who enter the indoor premises of a meeting or event space solely for the purposes of attending a wedding ceremony but not an associated social gathering.

Reservations and Screening Details

Upon check-in, all guests will be subject to our screening procedures which include a series of questions regarding your health and recent travel history. All Niagara’s Finest Hotel team members will be wearing masks and our guests are required to do so in public spaces as well, as mandated under local by-laws. We do ask that you bring your own mask with you.

We will contact you either by phone or by email whenever possible, should it be necessary for us to change a part of your stay with us.

US Traveler Information

Canada is now allowing entry to American citizens and permanent residents, who are currently residing in the United States, and have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to entering Canada for non-essential travel.

Subject to limited exceptions, all travellers must use ArriveCAN (app or web portal) to submit their travel information. If they are eligible to enter Canada and meet specific criteria, fully vaccinated travellers will not have to quarantine upon arrival in Canada. Niagara's Finest Hotels Duty of Care Policy

To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and staff members we are diligently developing updated Duty of Care policies and procedures for all areas of our business. These policies and procedures will outline the mandatory safety and disinfecting measures our company will implement upon opening to combat COVID-19 and to provide a safe and sterile environment within our properties. Compliance with the Ontario Public Health regulations and the CDC is of utmost importance to us as we build this policy.
