What you will need
🌺 Transparency film or cardstock
🌺 Mod Podge
🌺 Pressed flowers
🌺 Thin ribbon or tassel
🌺 Scissors
🌺 Paint brush
🌺 Hole punch
How to Assemble
- Choose your base. If you would like a clear book mark, use transparency film, otherwise you can also use a coloured cardstock as your base.
- Choose your flowers. You can buy prepressed flowers or you can use flowers you have previously pressed.
- Cut your base to your desired shape, typically a rectangle approximately 6” x 1.5”.
- Using a paint brush, brush Mod Podge onto the base, totally covering it.
- While the Mod Podge is still wet, lay out your flowers in a pleasing design onto the base.
- Apply 3 coats of Mod Podge, one at a time, over your flowers.
- Once the bookmark has dried, use a hole punch to add ribbon or tassel for a decorative touch.
