Fall is in the air, and what better way to bring that harvest magic indoors than with a festive fireplace makeover? Inspired by Clippings Floral Design, we’re layering textures like corn husks, berries, and mini pumpkins to create a mantel display that’s equal parts elegant and charming.

A mix of gourds, autumnal flowers, and flickering candles, this display brings rustic elegance to any room. It’s the perfect way to celebrate sweater weather—no pumpkin spice required!

What You Will Need

🍂Assorted pumpkins and gourds (real or faux)

🍂Fresh fall leaves or branches

🍂Tall candles or lanterns

🍂Autumnal flowers (sunflowers, chrysanthemums, marigolds)

🍂Optional: faux berries or seed pods

How to Assemble

  1. Place pumpkins and gourds directly along the mantel, mixing sizes and colours for variety.
  2. Drape fresh fall leaves or branches along the length of the mantel as a natural base.
  3. Tuck in clusters of autumnal flowers in small water tubes to keep them fresh.
  4. Add lanterns or candles evenly along the mantel for warmth and glow.
  5. Finish with berries or seed pods for extra texture.
