The Charles Hotel has 12 beautiful guest rooms, each unique in terms of layout, décor and special features. Staying at the Charles is an intimate experience steeped in history and old-fashioned hospitality.

Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m.
Is your hotel wheelchair accessible?
As a restored 1830s-era mansion, the Charles is limited in its accessibility.
We recommend guests with accessibility needs visit our sister hotels, Harbour House and the Shaw Club, which both have elevators and several accessible rooms.
Is your hotel dog-friendly?
We have one dog-friendly room. Guests with furry friends might be more interested in our sister hotel, Harbour House, which has two dog-friendly floors and a package specifically designed for dog lovers.
Do you offer room service?
Yes. We offer breakfast and dinner room service upon request. Breakfast is from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and dinner is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your reservation 72 hours prior to the day of arrival.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
No, breakfast is not included.
Are you open for lunch?
Yes, the HobNob Restaurant & Wine Bar is open for lunch Friday to Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Yes, we do, depending on the size. Please speak with our group sales department for further information.
Do you have on-site parking?
Yes, guests can park in the lot at the rear of the hotel. You can access it from Simcoe Street.
How close is the hotel to Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake?
The Charles Hotel is located on Queen Street within the Old Town. Step out the front door and you’ll already see some of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s heritage properties. The commercial district starts only a block away. The hotel is also a short walk to Queen’s Royal Park and the waterfront.
Is there shuttle service available?
Yes, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. every evening within the historical Old Town, including Peller Estates and Two Sisters winery.
Is there a place to rent bicycles?
Yes! In fact, there’s Zoom bike rental on site.
Is there complimentary shuttle service from the Toronto airport?
No, we do not offer complimentary shuttle service from the airport.
Are there charging stations for electric vehicles?
Yes, at all hotels.
How do I arrange for extra gifts—champagne, flowers, chocolate, etc. —to be sent to my room?

Food and beverage from one of our properties is included in the daily conference package rate or à la carte pricing. Outside catering is not permitted.
