Ingredients

Serves 8 people

1 15 oz can Pumpkin purée

1 14 oz Sweetened condensed milk

2 large Eggs

1 tsp Ground cinnamon

½ tsp Ground ginger

½ tsp Ground nutmeg

½ tsp Salt

1 9-inch Unbaked pie crust

Method

  1. Gather all ingredients and preheat the oven to 425°F (220 °C).
  2. Whisk pumpkin purée, condensed milk, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt together in a medium bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour into crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking until a knife inserted one inch from the crust comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool before serving.
  5. In a mixing bowl, add one cup heavy whipping cream (35%) with two tablespoons of confectioners sugar and whip until stiff peaks.
